Okay metrolink drivers have apparently voted to strike at weekends starting September 25/26th. So far it is only affecting rag games but worth keeping an eye on the situation.

The United Liverpool game will be a big one. How many fans will arrive into Piccadilly and have no way of getting to ground. Tourists won't care tbf, they'll just pay the £15 black cab fee.

I sense metrolink bosses will have th driver issue resolved by then though

In Eccles we would as our service (apart from when they were repairing the lines) is brilliant. One tram every 12 minutes to the Etihad.
