Cheers fella, what a pain, planning on a good piss up that day.Advanced warning that the Altrincham line is closed on the 20th October, when we play Burnley. Replacement buses instead.... and there's a Northern train strike still scheduled.
They really care, don't they..
Think I’ll get the bus down to Baguley and get the Met from there instead

If the other lines are operating, here is the solution for those travelling from the Altrincham direction.
Still think that Metrolink is shit though and is not a patch on public transport in the rest of Europe with the exception of London.
London public transport is superb as it should be considering all the money being spent in the capital, and they wonder why the rest of the country voted for Brexit?
- Drive to the free Metrolink car park at Sale Water Park - 10 minutes from Timperley where I live.
- Catch the Airport tram to Cornbrook and change to the Etihad/Ashton tram.

There's a bus replacement service which will be a lot slower than the tram but should be quicker than the 263.
