Like when we played Ajax over in Amsterdam, all the usual lot were there fronting up and giving it the big man.
Shouting abuse winding each other up.
Then they both went for each other like an hour after the winding up process.
I just watched on with my pint laughing at all the monkeys giving me entertainment.

Same scenario on Sunday.

Loads of lads fronting up, chastising each other for awhile then both groups going at it.
Here you can either continue watching on or walk away.
Plenty of opportunity to either:
Keep your mouth shut and just enjoy your pint.
Stand in an area away from the violence.
Walk away from it completely where there is no violence.

if you like fighting so much, go and join the Army.

It ain't big or clever, I have no respect for anyone who does it and you can have a sing song, great atmosphere, laugh with the lads etc without having to fight.

Young men will always want to fight,its happened down the years since time began,City were formed on the back of it.

My Grandfather and his mate would have many a scrap at the end of a night outside the Red Lion in Gorton.

If its a few fcukwits who want to knock the shit out of each other and dont bother innocents I have no problem with it,let them get on with it.

I do think the City fans in the pub were well within their rights to defend themselves and so administer what appears to be the resultant kick in.

It’s the same every time we play them - ‘they did this/they did that/they are horrible bastards’ etc etc. I can guarantee to you that only one of two things will sort this out, either, 1, The Police mop them up, particularly the old fuckers who should know better and the courts throw the book at them. This happened to City’s ‘mob’ years ago and they were never the same again, or, 2. City fans respond in kind, mob up in large numbers and give them a good hiding. Option 1 is preferable and longer lasting. However, no amount of bleating about it will stop it - it will just encourage the fuckers. So, GMP Police, if you are monitoring this board, get your act together and make some arrests, because if half of the claims on here are true, there is plenty of evidence if you can be arced looking for it.
