Micah Off To Ethiopia In The Summer

Hmmmm - Unfortunatley the cynic in me see's a different side to this.

Ever since the "disabled toilet roasting" photo with Ishmael was published, Mica and his new agent have been on a damage limitation exercise because apparently sponsors (footy Boot's, leisure wear, sunglasses etc) dont like to be associated with players with that type of image.

The sponsors prefer the wholesome charitable type of characters.

Maybe there's pressure from his agent, I don't know, but maybe Micah will learn something too and there's certainly no harm in it. In the end I think what they do on the pitch is more important for sponsors, but I really don't know much about that world I suppose. All I know is that it's always nice to see when Micah does this, or Stevie with his kids hospice...Bellers has his thing in Africa and SWP also does some charity stuff there, right? I really think many of the footballers don't just have the agenda of promoting their own name when they do this, and in the end I'm sort of fine with that when it's for a good cause anyway.
Even though I do understand your point in the end I don't think there's a loser in this scenario, but of course I'd rather for it to be really genuine.
