Micah's a breath of fresh air - he's actually changing the nature of punditry. When he's in the studio he brings the place to life - a burst of energy. Massive change from the usual drab stilted old guard and the worn out old jokes about Shearer scoring more than Wright. Beneath the personality and banter is a sharp knowledge of the game, but more than that he is a great social commentator. Not hard to see why every tv company wants him.

Totally - The contrast with all those years where Mark Lawrenson was the main pundit/co-commentator for England matches, and he sucked the life out of any match. Constantly complaining how rubbish everything was, and thinking his dreadful dad jokes were hilarious.

Micah comes across as a real fan of football.

Watched an ad with Keane and to be fair Micah brings the best out of him and has clearly helped him come to the conclusion that he is, was a truely miserable twat. Pundit wise , work in progress but with his personality and obsession with City is fine with me.

Hahaha knowledge of the game? Love Micah but he just talks in cliches. Everyone being “second to none” is one of his favourites. Don’t think he provides much insight from a footballing point of view but he is entertaining and nice to have a blue on board.

Good TV isn’t about watching geeks over analyse stats, otherwise that Zonal Marking freak and Jonathan Wilson would be on every channel.

it’s watching people who genuinely get on.

Keane and Richards is a great double act, He actaully seems like a decent bloke Keane. Wanker on the pitch but seems like a right laugh when you get him going. Micahs fantastic could light up any room.

Difficult though isn’t it, ultimately we are watching football and in between you want a bit of insight and analysis. Never have I thought oh I hope they’ve got people who genuinely get on as pundits today. If it’s not about the football then they should stick to these videos sky keep popping out which are enjoyable to watch.

The legendary ITV world cup pundit panels of 1970 and 74 were remembered for their members NOT getting on. Big Mal casually puffing cigar smoke in the face of the fanatically anti-tobacco Derek Dougan to wind him up

There are actually a couple of funny moments in this, especially when discussing Ronaldo’s possible next club

They have been a great watch.
As have the top tens on bbc iplayer with Lineker and Shearer.
He seems to bring out the best in other pundits.
You can see Keane,Lineker and Shearer enjoy working with him.
Shearer even praised him for being a great addition to the best off series on iplayer.
If still on iplayer try and catch the top 10 Premiership and Euros series best of.
