Compare Micah when he is commentating on City to other pundits when they have their previous team in front of them. He is constructive, sees the areas that aren't working. says so - there might be grudgin' agreeemnt from, say Danny Muppet when The Dippers are misfiring, but he will not initiate the criticism. They know RAWK will have 'em by the testicles, and the free entry to Anfield is compromised. Most BBC pundits are mealy-mouthed arse lickers who have 50%% affection for their previous employers, 49% for their present employers, and 1% for love of the game. Micah is straight down the middle 50-50, and I think he doesn't give a fuck for the RDAHMeedya hymn sheet.

He's great and will get better. He brings something no other pundit does with his enthusiasm and happy demeanour.

Very true. Nothing personal against Micah but the laughing does my head in and he doesn’t offer anything like what you say. Though none of them do.
I’m a huge cricket fan. The sky coverage of cricket is world class. Atherton and Hussain giving fantastic analysis every single day, and there’s something there for everyone no matter their level of understanding of the game.
Got a long way to go with that in football coverage in this country

Not sure you can compare cricket and footy commentary given one of em lasts four days..
