I have to put my hand up and say that I was one of the people that wrote off Micah, saying he was finished after last season's countless half-arsed contributions and a few silly mistakes this season.

However, in the last 2 games he has been almost faultless. Yes he was out of position for Hull's goal last weekend but, other than that the lad has really stepped up. His positioning is really improving, his decisions of whether to bomb down the wing or stay are improving and so is his tackling. People, myself included, were saying he has a big time Charlie attitude, totally proved us wrong going out on the training pitch and making a difference to his game.

Well done to the lad because he is showing that he wants to be a part of this club and for that I totally respect him and hope he can kick on from here.

Well played Richards, keep it up and there is no doubt in my mind that with performances like this he will be back in the England squad in no time. He just needs to take it one game at a time though and not get carried away with the performance.

Already a thread on this.

Think this lad deserves a couple of positive threads about him after some of the flak he's taken recently!

Well said OP. He has had a cracking few games, he was brilliant yesterday put in some awesome tackles.

Keep it up Micah!!

Was immense yesterday. Top quality performance showing a desire to return to what he was. And hopefully looking to the World Cup to give him inspiration.

Had this same debate with a friend of mine since last season,he said he was finished at City,i was more inclined to think it was just a dip in form that most professional football players suffer at some point during their career. He's an homegrown lad like Ned and Stevie Ireland, everyone wants to see him make a success of his career at City and maybe with the arrival of all these quality players in the summer,it's been the kick up the backside he probably needed.

I'd like to say i wasn't :)

Although Hughes is starting to make me look a twat, good old Micah has brought alot to the team since his return. While i agree his positioning is still dodgy it has improved alot, and that credit should probably lie with Bowen. He's starting to look like a full back, and his forward runs are pinning back opposition full backs. He makes us stronger in the air too at set pieces, attack and defence.

Much better option than Zab. Zab is the solid option, but doesn't give you much going forward. Richards runs are clever where as Zab tends to stay to the touchline and give an overlapping support which becomes quite obvious.

Well done Micah, keep it going
