Before Christmas I was losing faith in him then he's suddenly sprang into life and has had a sudden renaissance under Mancini. He looks more comfortable on the ball, seems to have his pace back, knows when to run, knows when to pass it, gets up and down well and also has a good final delivery.

I was all for getting a new right back in January, now I'd happily keep hold of Micah. Only going to improve with age, too.

He looked like he was enjoying the freedom to attack against Club America. Him & YaYa looked like American Football running backs in the second half, bursting through at will

Mancini has worked wonders with him.

And it looks like he have a really really close relationship with Mancini.

He has credited Mancini on a number of occassions to getting the best out of him. Mancini knows what he is on about. He brought Maicon to Inter and turned him into the one of the best right backs in the world! That Inter game is a red herring cos he was left isolated by the way Benitez set up the team - more poor tactics than a flawed player!

With Richards and Cliche in the team we have the twin pacey full backs we need to make our system work properly.

Along with Lescott, our most improved players since Christmas. In Micah's case, apparently Patrick Vieira had a long chat with him and told him to knuckle down and become the great defender he had the potential to be. Or so the urban legend has it, anyway!

I heard that PV had had words with him, that is why PV commands so much respect in the dressing room, as witnesed in that FA Final clip from the dressing room, where they all wanted to be photgraphed with him.

If he can do that with the next generation of stars he will be well worth what ever it is they are paying him for his new role.

I find it truly amazing how a change of manager can be the difference between average and great for a young player. If Hughes was still here, would Richard's have even been a first team player?

I'm not sure who said it but a credible person (during a man city match, fa cup I think) said he has the potential to be the best right back in the world. OTT? maybe, but he'll certainly be a notable name.

He's a lot better than Johnson, but Cappello doesn't seem to think so.
