A shame how his career panned out, looked a real prospect under Sven. Seems he had a few off field issues, probably not helped by injuries. He's still only 32, hope he's doing ok.

For me, he could've been KDB. Unbelievable player. But also shows that you can be good at something and still not love it enough to want to dedicate your life to it.

Johnson scored the first league goal for City in about 8 months against Derby and what a goal it was. I can still see it going in now as I was up in 216.

Injuries can wreck a player’s confidence and that’s hard to get back.
