Michael Owen

I never realised what a monumental bellend he was until he retired and started giving opinions on things. Always remember him bursting on to the scene and I actually loved the way he played despite who he played for, never knew what a fucking weird person he was.

Used to see those three regularly in Blueberry’s in Manchester around 5.00pm on a Friday afternoon before a game absolutely legless. I watched them literally carry Whiteside out one afternoon.
 
Not a RIP…

In Cyprus, delightful village of Laneia, has an old map of village with numbers and description of what numbers are - shop, tavern, church etc.
Got a bit of a shock ‘Michael Owen’ was listed… turns out he is an old local good artist.

In other bad news there’s a very nice beach restaurant at Kyrenia - went to pay and the experience was soured by the presence behind the bar of an ‘Anfield’ imitation (or maybe it’s not..) roadsign.

In better news whilst in a random coffee shop called Mikel in Limassol, got asked where I was from, answered ‘uk, Manchester’, ‘united…’, ‘noooo, City’, ‘ah good, Guardiola very good’, got a fist bump. Pleased to say not one united shirt seen in 10 days, and happy to be out and about in my madchester melting city badge t-shirt.
 
Anyone hear this moron last night? Just seen it on Youtube and he genuinely talks some shite. No idea how he gets a job as a pundit.

I watched it in australia live and the price was so embarrassing. Saying he needs to develop his touch or some bullshit. SWP pointed out his touch against arsenal and the othe bloke asked about his goal last night. Had a face like a stunned mullet. Absolute cockwomble

How people with his characteristics can be anywhere near, let alone directly involved in, the "education" of a child is beyond me.

Even in that little clip you can see what a nice bloke Neville Southall is.
Use to see him training the kiddies in the park outside margate fc always had time to say hi.

Big Nev is a lovely bloke and a wicked sense of humour.
