Mick Hucknall

His name is always mentioned as being in the crowd for the first Pistols gig at The Free Trade Hall in Manchester. I've recently heard loads more saying he wasn't at the gig. I don't know who to believe.

I think he was definitely at the second gig, as were most people who legend says were at the first.

Al Green is superior to all of them.
I’ve posted this before, I’ve got 2 Al Green songs on my track list, always have it it on random, played the following one after the other:

Let’s Stay Together
Tired of being on my own

Obviously didn’t work for Al

Tell you something about this ****. One New Year’s Eve about 30 years ago we went out to Home club. Everyone was off their tits having a great night and this prick was walking around the place on his own carrying a bottle of champagne and two glasses. He was trying to schmooze the best looking girls in our party by offering them a glass and, fair play to them, they weren’t having any of it. He was a walking cliche, a shallow cheeseball.
Id have done the same if I was in a band in the 90s to be fair

Weird looking fucker with a good voice..

Wrote a few good songs (Holding back The years) but I always thought he copied the great Smokey Robinson.

So many white singers/bands copy black singers.
