Middle East Conflict

Imagine this scenario. In 1948 Wales Is chosen as the Jewish homeland. Israelis drive half the Welsh population out into England, Scotland and Ireland. The remaining Welsh live in an open prison in Anglesey from which they launch rocket attacks against the Israeli state. Israelis respond with overwhelming force.
Would your sympathy still lie with Israel?
I am not sympathising with Israel, I'm trying to reflect upon reality and where opportunities for peace may exist. There won't be any opportunity for peace whilst Israel is attacked, I can guarantee you that.

So if resistance is justified and peace isn't an option then my point of view is that there is nothing to talk about. Let's just see who wins the war instead.

No winners in this war, just enmity for ever. Well done, lads

The US plan to build a floating port off the Gaza coast is a bold move, reminiscent of the Mulberry harbours built after D-day in Normandy, but there are serious concerns that what relief it brings will be too little too late for Palestinians facing starvation.

“When we talk about the sea route, it’s going to take weeks to set up and we are talking about a population that is starving now. We have already seen children dying of hunger,” said Ziad Issa, the head of humanitarian policy at the ActionAid charity.

You only have to ask why Israel has acquired nuclear weapons. Is it because it may need to drop a nuclear bomb on Gaza, seriously?

The reason, as Israel eventually declared as their reason why they built nuclear weapons, was to act on the Nazi.

But, and this is a big but, that doesn’t mean that they built nuclear weapons exclusively activating on Nazi target, and everyone else the bomb becomes a dud. When any country has nuclear weapons, it is not spared from any country.

Consider a mature person, in the US, buys a gun. For defensive purposes. License approved. But that doesn’t mean a youngster shot at school and kill because that youngster has had enough. Or that man who was technically sane, found out his missus was with another, and that another he’d shot. Or one who went bankrupt so had to go for arm robbery. Or self-inflicted suicide because that person has had enough of the world. In the heat of the moment, it happens. Israel is currently in the heat of the moment for years. Remember in the 1940s the Irgun and Palmach Jews shot headpoint at our own British soldiers.

It's actually because who do you think is arming Hamas? Did those guns and rockets appear from thin air? Are the Houthis bombing ships in the Red Sea because of the Palestinian issue? Really?

Read through the excerpts of the Israel cabinet’s confession that they assisted in the creation of Hamas. They financed Hamas to weaken the Palestinian Authority.

If they didn’t assist Hamas, the PLO will achieve the two-state solution (see also Yasser Arafat + Yitzhak Rabin, and the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin by extremists Jews who were against the two-state solution. They’d kill their own leader to keep achieving greater Israel. Remember the history when the Qurayza Jew tribe was surrounded by Muslim tribe, and they decided to kill all their own women and children first before they run out for their final battle? Thank to their God that the Aws tribe agreed with the Muslim tribe to spare the Qurayza Jews lives, and them to pay tax (as with all other religion including Muslim, Druze, Christians to pay tax to give to the poor) and so the Jew tribes were protected equal rights under the Medina Charter. Didn’t last long from Qurayza though, as they started an unsuccessful coup for Judean sovereignty).

The history of the self-entitled racial supremacy of that select tribes has precedence, the tribes from the south Europe were them. The tribes who stayed in Arab caliphates since B.C.E had no issues against all other races.

Framing this problem in terms of the Palestinians is moronic because the Iranians and Houthis do not give a toss about the Palestinians. I can prove this because the wellbeing of the Palestinians has become infinitely worse since Iranian proxies decided to attack Israel and continue to attack Israel. Meanwhile how many Palestinian refugees has Iran or Yemen taken so far?

Iran already has 800,000+ registered and 2,000,000+ unregistered Afghan refugees from the Soviet war in the 70s and the US war in the 90s and then 00s. Including other refugees, Iran is currently the #1 country with the most refugees…IN THE WORLD. They do have Palestinian refugees but they do not document them, because there is a rift between Sunni Islam and Shia Islam.

In Yemen, that is out of the question, because Yemen itself has 1 million Yemenis as refugees in other countries.

I actually believe that a contributing factor to 7/10 and why Hamas was pushed to act was because the Arab nations were progressing towards a historic normalisation of ties with Israel, ie, PEACE.

Your view of normalisation is narrow as your emphasis is on Israel. Normalisation has been ongoing by the sunni Arab states before Israel. The sunni states normalised Iran (because Iran is Shia). They then normalised Syria and Bashar Assad, and then after, Turkey. Israel is the next country in the normalisation cycle. But the prerequisites include

  1. Freezing the Israeli settlement. (currently land grab is still active especially by Jews in Canada and US with their land auctions of Gazan and West Bank not rightfully theirs)
  2. Israel to dismantle settlements in occupied territory, and military outposts around the perimeters of occupied territory.
  3. A two-state solution (following the pre-1967 territorial dispute.
  4. The capital of Palestine is Jerusalem.
Pre 7 October 2023, the sunnis states were already not optimistic of the normalisation, which they perceive in the long term as possible when the current Israel hardline political stance falters and a new one that is more liberal takes its place.

In effect Hamas and its axis of friends do not want a peaceful settlement in the Middle East and they certainly do not want middle eastern alignment to the west. Iranian proxies such as Hamas are also supported by Russia who is committing its own genocide in Ukraine, and what about Assad's genocide of his own people in Syria... It's all a bit ironic to talk about peace really isn't it?

Again, see how Israel government financed Hamas. If you’re not in the know, see when EU council, Israel liberal news, even former Israel cabinet members themselves elucidated on how Israel financed Hamas to weaken Fatah. That was years before 7 October.

I'm not sure what happened to syntax in the first bit, but I'm afraid you're responding to someone who isn't interested in the history of the last 70 years, let alone 20 times that long ago.
