You have slightly more than some in the main its been I think hammas are cunts, rights thata all I have to say about it back to Isreal bashing .
I dont want the loss of innocent Palestian lives as much as the next person , but when Hammas did this, they knew the response. You knew the response we all knew the response.

Yeah, I’ve said Hamas are terrorist scum and last weeks attack was awful, and suggested going after the leaders in Qatar, I’m not going to include it as a preface for every comment I make just to appease you now that the threads focus has turned towards the retaliation and the civilian deaths that are still to come.


And I’m sorry but I don’t see how Hamas knowing they’d get thousands of Palestinians killed justifies Israel doing exactly that?

One could just as easily say that Israel knew 20 years of barbaric oppression would breed more violence and terrorist attacks, but that would also be wrongly apportioning blame.

The only people responsible for massacring Israeli citizens is Hamas and the responsibility for killing Palestinians civilians is on Israel. This “they made us do it” cop out from both sides is not fooling anyone.

I asked specific questions and I’m afraid that posting a video of some biased documentary which appeared on TV 14 years ago doesnt constitute an answer.

The inference of the original post was that ‘Jewish lobbyists’ - all unnamed of course and no doubt lurking in the shadows - had helped put Sunak into power and now he owed Israel as a result. I would like to know what evidence there is for that claim, as to me it just sounds like an ignorant, malignant stereotype.

I believe Palestine should be free from Israeli oppression. I think what Israel are doing the Palestian people now is awful. However I will never excuse the actions of Hamas.


Rightly or wrongly Israel and Palestine need a two state solution. It’s the only way for peace.

The problem is there are a minority of Palestinians who want to wipe Israel off the map and a minority of Israelis who want to take more Palestinian land. They are ruining everyone elses lives.

Last week Israel was minding its own business until Hamarse attacked it. Same as last year with the thousands of rocket attacks. Palestine is literally punching a big boy when his back is turned and then when the big boy turns around to wallop him, saying: "Peace, peace!" and shielding his face.

It took 50,000 united fans about 5 minutes to evacuate Wembley in 2011. Perhaps we should get them to train the Palestinians.

Hamas is 30-40,000 fighters and maybe 2x that in hangers on in a population of 2.4million.

They are such a tiny minority that if you offered the people of Gaza a choice between Hamas and freedom, secure boundaries, hospitals, food, power etc then there’s only one winner and it’s not Hamas, they’d be a tiny minority overnight and all but gone in a few years.

You have to offer people an alternative if you want them to abandon someone - after all that’s how Israel got rid of the PLO.

Remember the median age in Gaza is 18. The last election in Gaza was 17 years ago.

30,000 people is a minority? Imagine if 30,000 armed people, that is half the Etihad Stadium were running around Manchester. Do you reckon the Manchester population would rise up against them? Would they balls. At this point resistance against Hamas would certainly be met with death that's for sure.

The civilians in Gaza are powerless because you cannot vote a guy out who has an AK47 and is willing to die for a cause. I wonder if the Afghans have thought about the same thing or maybe the Russians too?

That’s a very simplistic reading of the situation, ignoring the violence that has been going on in the West Bank, it’s not whataboutry to consider the terrible behaviour of one side or another

But also factor in that the units that should have been in Gaza were guarding illegal settlements in the West Bank

Nothing and I mean nothing is ever justified in killings non combatants either on purpose or as collateral damage, that’s my red line

Hamas deserves to be taken out, the fact is they won’t be, because they can only be destroyed by solving the problem that gave birth to them, by all means go after them but at least show some willingness to look for a peaceful and equitable solution
