As I said previously Israel need to be careful it’s not getting rope-a-doped into something. To me, the attack by Hamas makes no sense without some sort of trap being involved.

Iran's foreign minister has been in the Lebanon today chatting with Hezbollah.

Unfortunately, it looks like (to me as an outsider) that Israel isn't just after Hamas anymore.

Isreal have said they have definately NOT used white phosphorous in Gaza.

Hamas sometimes fire rockets from the land of people they don’t like because they know Israel will demolish the property or area. Not the case in this example, I know.

You can’t, it’s a ridiculous request.

The stopping of food, water and medical aid to Gaza was wrong and the failure to set up a humanitarian corridor in which those who want to leave could in a sensible time frame also wrong.

Israel though would have thought Hamas fighters themselves would have used it to run so from a military point of view I can see why that didn’t happen.

Its horrible.

You say “from a military point of view” as if bombing a children’s hospital to kill a couple of enemy combatants is something any other western military would do.

I know there’s quite a few ex British military on here, I don’t think any of them would think that’s an acceptable act of war.

Classic Hamas tactic - fire weapons from civilian areas so Israel has no chance but to retaliate and then watch all the usual "free Palestine" types accuse Israel of targeting civilians.

Hamas are a load of medieval islamic terrorists who are happy for their own people to be killed and used as human shields.
