No wonder there was the huge pro palestinian protest against the BBC the other week. Which incidentally the MET stopped them from arriving at there. Another scandalous decision.

If Hamas had not attacked Isreal this whole horrible year and a half would not have happened.
But Hamas, Hezbolah and iran want the genocide of the entire Ireali population.
And you lot want to be complicit in that apparantly.

And don't forget everyone this is the poster who camps out on the Russia thread, Slamming Putin for trying to steal Ukrainian land, Bombing buildings and slaughtering folk, agreeing with the ICC about Russias War Crimes too.

I said that a peace deal would be struck which would include loss of territory. We'll see on that one.

No. Absolutely not, although I do think the Isreal[sic] situation is far more complicated and nuanced than Ukraine, which I see as a pretty straight up battle of good against evil.

Everyone has things that trigger them for lots of different reasons. I readily accept I’m more energised by Ukraine than the Palestinian cause; there are multiple reasons for that. Others are more exercised by the latter, for their own good reasons I’m sure. It’s not a competition - and I do sympathise with the Pakestinan cause. And believe they absolutely deserve a viable and secure homeland. Just as the Jewish people did in 1945.

My point was that you said my question should be deployed to the ‘Ukrainian’ thread, after you’d literally just posted the following in this thread:

Wow, i didn't know the Ukraine attacked Russia and killed 1200 people and took several hundred hostages.
No wonder Russia felt the need to invade the Ukraine to stop that threat and get the hostages back.

People here have agendas to keep. Hate Israel all you want. But don't think they haven't been provoked. (from multiple angles)

The other thread is about an unprovoked attack. The Ukraine and Palestine situations are not the same.
The only comparison between the two are that innocent people have been killed.

They absolutely aren't the same. The other difference between the two is that the Ukraine conflict could end tomorrow if one of the participants unilaterally laid down their arms. And there is no danger in those circumstances that Russia’s borders would be at risk from Ukraine following that. Preposterous to suggest otherwise.

If Ukraine laid down her arms they would be overwhelmed within hours.

And innocent people have absolutely been killed, and on both sides too. In both conflicts. Some poor Russian **** working in an oil refinery, just trying to provide for his wife and kids and he burns to death because of a drone strike. He doesn’t deserve to die like that. So, yes they are both terrible conflicts.

But one could end tomorrow. And the other definitely couldn’t.

They are not the same.

If the yanks turn the taps completely off for the Israeli funding of Genocide against the Palestinians that would end tomorrow too.

If you are talking of the American state, then that’s absolutely not correct. There would be plenty of private benefactors for Isreal in the event of American state funding being turned off.

Do you think that lobbying occurs in a vacuum?

Who else would sell them the weopens to keep murdering tens of thousands of Palestinians if not the yanks?
