But where will they come from?I thought l had made it clear from the words ‘private benefactors’.

America mainly. But where will they come from?
Who provoked whom first?Wow, i didn't know the Ukraine attacked Russia and killed 1200 people and took several hundred hostages.
No wonder Russia felt the need to invade the Ukraine to stop that threat and get the hostages back.
People here have agendas to keep. Hate Israel all you want. But don't think they haven't been provoked. (from multiple angles)
The other thread is about an unprovoked attack. The Ukraine and Palestine situations are not the same.
The only comparison between the two are that innocent people have been killed.
LOLBlimey you lot are so anti Isreal and anti Jew it's untrue.
If Hamas had not attacked Isreal this whole horrible year and a half would not have happened.
But Hamas, Hezbolah and iran want the genocide of the entire Ireali population.
And you lot want to be complicit in that apparantly.
LOL
If hamas hadn't resisted on October the 7th the there wouldn't have been any Palestinians left there in a decade or 2 anyway because israel would have continued to murder and ethnically cleanse them all just as they've done for the past 70+ years (and continue to do so both in the West Bank and Gaza even despite the current ceasefire)
No. Absolutely not, although I do think the Isreal[sic] situation is far more complicated and nuanced than Ukraine, which I see as a pretty straight up battle of good against evil.
Everyone has things that trigger them for lots of different reasons. I readily accept I’m more energised by Ukraine than the Palestinian cause; there are multiple reasons for that. Others are more exercised by the latter, for their own good reasons I’m sure. It’s not a competition - and I do sympathise with the Pakestinan cause. And believe they absolutely deserve a viable and secure homeland. Just as the Jewish people did in 1945.
My point was that you said my question should be deployed to the ‘Ukrainian’ thread, after you’d literally just posted the following in this thread:

No, I don’t. But I think it was wrong as a basic principle of fairness that those people weren’t accommodated at the time or subsequently, which was perfectly feasible.Do you accept as a basic principle of fairness that it was wrong to create the state of Israel in land that already belonged to another people, a people who bore no responsibility for their suffering?
No, I don’t. But I think it was wrong as a basic principle of fairness that those people weren’t accommodated at the time or subsequently, which was perfectly feasible.
I don’t. Why would you infer that from what I’ve said? Why do you feel that the Palestinians' right to a homeland was secondary to Jewish migrants?
I don’t. Why would you infer that from what I’ve said?
Now here was me KNOWING that Hamas:LOL

OuchNow here was me KNOWING that Hamas:
- Had been launching missiles into Israel for years; and
- Had launched the 7th October raid into Isreal starting this shit show of a war; and
- Who want the removal of all Jews from Palestine for that is what the chant "From the River To The Sea" is all about a song about there core beliefs. (Hitler wanted that for Germany and it is code for Genocide.)
My mistake.
Palestine didn't exit itself till 1917. A creation of the British Empire resembling the similar Roman Province and the Kingdom of Jordan - One of the British Empires allies in WW1.

The Ottoman Empire spit things very differently and there were multiple ethnic groupings.

A British solution that might perhaps have been better thought out?Palestine didn't exit itself till 1917. A creation of the British Empire resembling the similar Roman Province and the Kingdom of Jordan - One of the British Empires allies in WW1.

Lol. Because nobody ever referred to that area of land as Palestine before 1917. The imperial mindset in a nutshell.Palestine didn't exit itself till 1917. A creation of the British Empire resembling the similar Roman Province and the Kingdom of Jordan - One of the British Empires allies in WW1.

Does sound like he is going with a Putin style "never a real country" argument. Too much war porn and not enough logic? So by the Same logic Russia can take back Ukraine because it's only been a sovereign country 34 years?
