1st vs 3rd (though Inter have played a game more than Napoli), kicking off in about 10 minutes.

Napoli could climb to joint first, albeit behind on GD, with a win at the San Siro.

Robinho is starting alongside Ibra and Pato, for those wondering.

Any decent leftbacks, centrehalves or creative midfielders playing?

Unfortunately Cassano was dropped for Pato, who is in the attack with Ibra and a lively Robinho. The contest is very lively, Milan with a slight upperhand in terms of possession and threat, but Napoli do feel dangerous when attacking.

Hamsik is a good creative mid with hair crazier than Mario's, but I don't think he's a player that would bode well in England, IMO.

-- Mon Feb 28, 2011 3:28 pm --

really great game, even if a lot of the chances are because of mistakes.

Milan have wasted tons of chances; Robbie having a shocker through 40 minutes.

Yes, good game. Milan pushes for the first goal, Napoli waiting to hit on the counterattack, and why shouldn't they.

Jankulovski blocks everything down the left (corrected) and restarts, Van Bommel combines experience with very good distribution, them both have been outstanding for Milan.

Robinho is lively but imprecise, just like the more powerful Hamsik for Napoli. Pato is also lively but does feel like he wants too much, got an unnecessary yellow because of this, he should calm down.

Ibra has taken the wrong decisions in critical moments but feels like the most dangerous. Cavani is kind of biding his moment, he reminds me of a younger Inzaghi, almost invisible in the game but suddenly there he is in the danger area.

what was that penalty for?

The penalty was for the Napoli player deliberately lashing out with his arm to push the ball out of play and impede Pato to receive it.

Zlatan, 1-0!

Robinho subbed after 62 mins, mediocre performance. He should really have gotten on the scoresheet on a tap-in after some delicious work from Pato down the left, only great reflex save by De Sanctis denied the goal.
