I had a quick scan of a couple of seasons the other day and when we won the league in 1937, United got relegated and were 25 points behind us!

That’s 2 points for a win, surely it would have bigger with 3 for a win? Surely there would have other 2 points for a win seasons with this kind of gap.

In that case, it would have been:
City 22 wins 13 draw would be 79 points
United 10 wins 12 draws would be 42 points

So in today’s terms we would have been 37 points above them.
