Some people on here think it's OK to lose, and expect to lose, to the likes of Chelsea and qualify their opinion by saying "we could have lost by 3 or 4, so thank fuck it was only 1-0"
I say "bollocks". As long as we're prepared to accept defeat before we kick a ball then we're doomed Mr Mainwearing, and that seems to be the attitude of certain players when faced with certain situations. Robinho is undoubtedly a great talent, but he strolled around the pitch today as if he was thinking of what he's going to download on to his iPod tonight and SWP was obviously wearing his Harry Potter Cloak of Invisibility.
Until we adopt (that's players and fans) a winning and do or die attitude we'll still be turning up to the big games with a goal against already chalked up on the scoreboard. Grit, determination and commitment, you can't ask for more.
