Manchester City's treble trophies taken to patient's bedside
Mark Whittaker said seeing the haul from the club's greatest ever season was a dream come true.

Very sorry to report that Mark passed away earlier this week. Some might say it was apt that he did so a matter of days after he saw the trophies which was then followed by God's own stuffing the Rags at the swamp. I had the pleasure of meeting him a few times. He was a lovely, kind and warm fella who smiled, hugged and laughed to the very end.
Friends and family have asked if Blues could give a minute's applause at the 56th minute of today's match. The club has been asked to put the photo of him with the trophies on the big screen. If as many Blues as possible could join in I know it would mean a lot to his family.
