same really as one or two comments on the Anelka thread to old we need players in their early / mid twenties not over 30 quality no doubt but would only be a short term signing ADUG wanna build for the future so why sign a guy this old knowing 2 or 3 seasons a replacement would be needed. At least with Shay as a keeper even at 32 we will probably get another 5 seasons out of him. A striker in the top flight tends to be seen as passed it once over 32 / 33 as the role they play tends to lead to injuries like Fowler and Cole

I think there is about 5 strikers we should try for and hopefully get 3

The first we should sign 2 of the 3: Dzeko, Eto'o, Benzema

second 1 of the 2 as we have robi who's similar: Aguero or Bojan

I have my doubts about Benzema and Aguero

He's class but probably not right for us.

A bit too old, very small, probably wouldn't leave Bayern for us, etc
