The Mirror of all places goes City mad.
Three articles, too long to put here but worth a read and speculation about Petrov.

Critical of Robby's attitude but more so of the agents playing games in the background.
Could be that Holt is being fed this by the club as part of preparing the fans for Robby leaving or maybe pointing out to Robby's gang that they either put up or shut up.
The closing lines....

Digs about City's medical treatment of Robby but not many direct quotes so could be twisted truths.

Read between the lines for a bit of an explanation from Ade about the drop off in form since the Gooners match.
Sounds like it hit him hard but now giving himself a kick up the backside back ready to fire all guns blazing. Plenty of quotes.

i support whoever wears the blue shirt of man city and here are my reasons.......
1...players come and go..if robihno goes so what, if petrov goes so what they will be replaced as was
bell,lee,summerbee
2...never get their name on your shirt open to ridicule...see rag ones over Tranny and Tevez (although i have tevez on my home one just to wind them up)
3...yes i know in the past good have been relaced by bad......times are now different

4...can you see the likes of robinho playing the masters in 20 yrs time? no

5...no matter how old or young you are you have supported the shirt not the player otherwise we would be all stuck in our 1st season as blues, please support the here and now (whether it be players or management) and let the future look after its self ............step back from the laptop and look at the bigger pic,we are the wealthiest club in the world ZERO debt an ongoing building squad on going building off the field and all in 15 months...i have waited 33 yrs since league cup and 40 yrs since league title so after 15 months i can wait a while longer hope all of you can.
 
Olly Holt - City are too good for Robinho....This article reminds me of another player who couldn't make his mind up who he wanted to play for and that is Anelka every club he played for he left to play for a bigger club.
 
I've lost all respect for Robinho over the past week. He's been trying my patience almost since the day he arrived, but this week has been the final straw. As long as we get our money back off Barcelona he can fuck off for good for all I care. The guy simply doesn't give two shits about our beloved club and I'm afraid anyone who thinks differently is sadly deluding themselves. The total lack of respect he has for City will eventually begin to spread like poison amongst the other players, and that really is something we could do without.

also Petrov could improve Spuds a lot, which could be the worst bit of buisness we could do all year, if a spot in the top four is available that last thing we need is Spuds (who have a tendancy to fuckin' us over) nicking it!

Me neither. Has always thought of himself as the composite of Puskas, Pele, Cruyff and Di Stefano. We will have to enlarge the tunnel to get his head through.

And besides, he ain't that good. If 'Arry is getting rid, I am beginning to detect the aroma of rattus rattus.

Petrov is much the better option.

What are we saying? Bentley just isn't good enough to project us forward. His best days are behind him.
