Missing City fan Brian Slater from Middleton

Thank you to everybody who contributed to Brians collection Yesterday, it was good to see so many of the older lads in the Manchester pub after the game, special thanks to Shaun for organising and taking the collection, an excellent amount was raised I believe

£1819 raised so far by all the lads at City to help out at this awful time for Brian's family, brilliant effort from everyone.

RIP Brian. Don't know the name but must have seen him at away games in the 80's. Is there a paypal or sort code and account number you can pay into for the funeral?

This picture might rejog some memories for Blues of Brian...

R.I.P. Brian and condolences to his family. Remember him well from the 70`s, he was one you really wanted on your side. The Friday night coaches down to London from aytoun street, just crazy. Used to go after the Cyprus or some other club had closed. Great times, if a bit hairy at times. Brian, scotty daffy and loads of other characters, all great Blues then and now.

Last time I seen Daffy he was chasing a bloke around a car in Oldham after the match

Great turnout today, so many turned up people were stood outside
Thank you to you all, lots post on here that I didn't know about
Charlotte, Jane and Brian Jnr you are the salt of the Earth and true Blues
God bless you Brian I will never forget you X
