I saw a clip from that earlier, unfortunately. The bearded guy seems to have built a rapport with the witness but then lies in wait for him on his dog walking route to interview him on national TV live.
He then gets half of the facts wrong and the old guy has to correct him, and keeps looking at the camera like he's Jeremy Beedle about to pull a prank. Why on earth does this story need two sky interviewers, and why do they present the guy who called in the phone (he didn't even find it) as if it's top story, breaking news, and incredibly insightful and brave reporting,? Their presence in the village is now unnecessary and even harmful.
Absolute empty headed questions too like "how has the last week been" and "it must be hard"... Of course made easier by sky news reporters setting you up for an unannounced live interview and demonstrating first hand they've not been listening to a world you said as it's the "look at me" show.
Awful, awful stuff by sky, they should be ashamed but that's like saying the devil should watch his tan. I'm not even sure the witness knew he was on live TV and he's now revealed his morning routine and details of his family by accident, in a case where we've already seen tick-tocking numbskulls charged for playing super sleuth with little regard for the people involved.
