Missing woman Nicola Bulley - inquest (P 158)

Or I could just go back back to my original post in this thread and insist that she was abducted by aliens.
Whichever suits you best .

I’d rather that then accuse someone of murdering there wife they’ve just possibly lost based your expert skills of body language- it’s disrespectful and out of order

Is it not unusual for the police to give such an almost certain hypothesis, that she fell/entered the water
and that there are no suspicious concerns and in all probability, she is still in the river or out in the bay?

I know they are eager to squash rumours of the possibility of a predator still in the area, however, I still
thought it was unusual to commit to x1 hypothesis? I thought they usually prefer to keep all options in
play? The reason stated was that its due to all the exits having either been locked or covered by cctv &
cctv doesn't show her leaving the area. The Superintendent didn't actually confirm there was cctv at all
the locked exits though? I've read elsewhere that police have previously placed erroneous information
out in statements so as to try to get a suspect to make a mistake thinking they are not under suspicion.

After the police statement, the first question was around confirmation that the lady was wearing a fitbit.
The reporter eluded to the tracking capability & had this been followed up? I didn't make out the reply?
I'm sure they don't have the capability of an aeroplane black box but it would be interesting to know any
data the police have available, if any.

If the hypothesis is correct, unless the body has been significantly snagged underwater by clothing for
example. I believe at some point, it then move upwards to the surface & floats? The temperature of the
water alters time that this is likely to happen & the warmer the water, I believe the quicker the process?
Obviously, it's February and the water is cold, so this may take sometime yet. I know its gruesome but
if this aspect means her body is found earlier then the family receives some closure at earlier time too?
Body will float up as the gases in the body expand as it decomposes unless it’s snagged under something

Often think the most boring explanation is the one that's probably right. The dog has probably got free from the harness or gone too near the river, she's gone to retrieve it from the water's edge and put the lead back on. At some point she's slipped and fallen in, and if the river's moving quickly then that's it.

When I was 8/9 years old and learning to ride a bike, I was cycling along the Mersey down by Burnage Rugby Club, just before you hit Parrs Wood. Took one hand off the handlebars and went down the bank straight into the river. My parents were there so they fished me out, but if I was on my own I'd have been fucked.

I never made a noise. It took 3/4 seconds to even realise what was happening, then once I hit the water I lost sense of myself. Thankfully it was a dry summer day so the water was slow and fairly shallow, because when it rains heavily the water comes right up to the banks and moves quickly. Could have easily been a goner.

Like I said, my dad fished me out and the worst that happened was I got a really nasty stomach bug from swallowing half the river (made the mistake of going to a City-Arsenal game the next day, the one where Lauren scored that really bizarre own goal, and missed half the game), but any colder/wetter and who knows.

Her poor family. Especially her daughters. There's nobody like mum in the whole universe.

It’s easy done

Would say most weeks there’s people (mainly kids) slipping or falling into a river - it happens and 99.99999% it’s fine. But eventually the worst happens.

quote where ANYONE has accused ANYONE of ANYTHING? ffs

Most have been respectful and just questioning strange things happening not that far away from Manchester ...its called a discussion.

Fair enough if it’s just a discussion and a bit of entertainment- but for me it’s out of order. Can’t imagine the ordeal he is going through, the mental toll and how he is coping with children and then on top of that people online start questioning your body language and saying ‘something not right’ about you. It’s just adding more pain.

It's all very strange, lots of questions and stuff that doesn't quite add up.

I did have to do a double take when her friend was being interviewed, she looks very similar to Nicola.

There isn't actually anything unusual about his behaviour or body language here. He's obviously emotional but holding back, not playing up for the camera for effect or acting shifty.

Watched Ian Huntley for a comparison and the creep kept looking back and forth.

I agree, how are you supposed to react? Must have all kinds of things going on in his head and has his two kids as his priority whilst all this chaos is going on around him.I hope there is a happy ending but am not holding out much hope
