Missing woman Nicola Bulley - inquest (P 158)

I thought the dog was missing too?

You would think if she fell in the river the dog would go as well as her natural reaction would be to tense up and grip the lead.

That is presuming the dog was on a lead!

It is very odd she has just vanished.

I think that there is a distinct possibility that the dog went into the water and got into trouble and she went in to save it. Dog got out she didn't.
You would think that there would be some way of being able to tell if the dog did enter the water
If it's anything like ours, it would be wet.

Apparently the dog wasn’t wet. I wonder if anyone heard anything on the team call she was still connected to

Watched the press conference, Dog was dry, and apparently no marks on the river bank.

Police think she may have fallen in but not definite.

Hard to believe she fell in and not found yet, the river does not look fast flowing and has plenty of bends and narrow points. Hopefully wasn't the case but really bizarre up to now!

If she fell in, with the clothes she had on she would have struggled, particularly with the temperature of the water, which could have caused shock and maybe cardiac arrest.

So sad for all concerned

I'm not sure it is fast flowing from recollection. As you say, with so many bends, there are plenty of catch points

I was of the opinion that it was a tragic accident; she fell in after her dog must have gone hyper near the water. But the interview with the partner was... unusual.
