a mate in work said it to me this week,he was listening on radio over here in ireland,said we were wankers for booing.i was watching on computer and knew it was the ref we were booing cos watching is far better than listening especially when the comentators are gobshites

Thank fuck for that, I thought they were all booing me. Luckily Jeff Stelling has cleared that one up, not that I'm paranoid or anything. I don't suppose the media ever mentioned what a crock of shite the referee was though. MOTD was the only media coverage I saw and he barely featured, apart from giving a stonewall penalty and sending off.

If you were at the game it was obvious we were booing the ref. On "Goals On Sunday" Kris Kamaragh did mention we booed the ref off the pitch and not the team!
