Hi all,

I've tried converting an .mkv to DVD using convertxtodvd and also Aimersoft DVD Creator and experience loss of quality with both. Not too much, but when maximised there is slight blocking during quick moving segments (not good for music videos).

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers,

MM

Cheers mate, took a bit of playing about with. It's two passing now just to make sure, but I think the problem was down to the .mkv rip being Blu Ray resolution where DVD is a max of 720 as you know.

I have the cce encoding engine for you, it's the best one you can get.

multi is a nice simple tool with good results to though.

convertxtodvd on 2pass is just as good really.
