Any local who doesn't get out and support their local league can't think they are better than any armchair rag.

This is silly. I was supporting City BEFORE there even WAS an MLS!!! The standard is shit. thats the same thing as slating a City supporter who comes from Rochdale. They should support Rochdale and follow them up and down the country. Bollocks!

How do you think it will get any better if people don't go and give their money/support behind it?

If you can't get any enjoyment out of a lower standard of game, then do you really like the game itself? Give me two park teams giving it their all over top level professionals shutting up shop or going through the motions.
