strangley enough, the 1st post i read this morning was your moan about the value season card. The 2nd one was this..

No doubt moaning about the moaners though.

I just dont understand why some cant see the bigger picture. New stands will be opening soon and you'll all be able to sit together again. Until then sit tight.

and why cant you appreciate that OTHER people have been affected by this, and not just financially mate

It's a prety significant changes that will affect a lot of people.

IF you're happy with the changes then good luck to you, as far as I can see people have every right to disagree with them.

It's not just moaning for moanings sake, it's having a say about what is happening at the club.

Its not that moomba. Many have been saying that City was a family club where families were welcomed and that we've lost that identity, most City fans i've spoke to have said this.

So City do something about it, and, no doubt some of those were NS's. The club have listened to the fans and are getting dogs abuse for it. They have made an attempt to get that family feel back into the club, and while yes it has affected a few people, all this 'Fuck off City' is harsh.

City also have to build a foundation for the future, and without youngsters there will be no future. Like it or not, we aren't the priority anymore, you're son or daughter, and mine if i have children are the future of this club and are now going to be an important part of that future, more important than you and I. Does that bother me? Does it fuck, cos i know for however many years i have to live im going to enjoy every moment of it as a City fan, no matter what the prices are, no matter where i have to sit, and no matter where i have to travel.

Do you honestly think we will get 10,000 - 30,000 new fans between the age of 25 - 60? Possibly 10k, very slim chance though cos by the age of 25 you're already loyal to 1 or 2 teams.

Now do you think we will get 10,000 - 30,000 new fans between the age of 5 - 16? I do. Kids are the future of football. Getting them in early gives this club a very healthy foundation for the future and a great turnover too. When i say turnover, i mean death to alive ratio.

Almost 11 years ago, we, City, nearly didn't have a future. So be greatful for what you've got now.

Thought you'd instructed everyone to talk about the football! :) And we did have a youth policy, £95 a ticket brought about by 10 goals in one season. Now some parts of the ground that's doubled. City have really done their best to alienate a lot of fans over this but I doubt they give a shite.

tough live with it or move on,thats the price of success, its not the end of the world moving to another fkin stand

What fucking successs...........its got stuff all to do with success but purely a marketing tool dreamt up by some nerd in the Club.

Some peoople on here are just selfish twats who have no idea.........I despair

All this moaning about the moaners is a bit rich , coming as it does from mainly South Standers (it seems) , these are the people who when they have to move from their precious seat for the occassional cup tie fill this board with moaning about the crap view from other stands or how "its not fair I cant stand up and watch the away fans for 90 mins from the North Stand" etc , etc. I`ve had the same angle of viewing for the last 16 years since I moved into the newly built Platt Lane from the soon to be demolished Kippax , I also started out in the old Platt Lane 32 years ago , now with no warning I`m shoved out !
Has any one thought , will the "families" actually fill the North ? What happens if they don`t and the rest of the stadium is full , do they sell the tickets to non family fans ? or are we left with empty seats while fans can`t get a ticket ? A sensible solution would surely have been to swap the North Stand Lower and Family Stand round , the lower tier is bigger hence more families and us s/t holders could swap upstairs and still be behind the goal , IF the family stand proved a success and was over subscribed , then look to extend it upstairs and move people out , that way at least we would have more time to plan things . The thing that has annoyed me and probably others is that this was just dumped on us with NO warning , I filled out the s/t questionaire , but never had any inkling that this was in the offing .

All I will say is if this happened in the South Stand there would be uproar. 100 page thread at least. They moan enough if they have to move for one cup game FFS.

Its all right because its the North Standers though. Hey, there part timers, all they do is watch the game and not stare at the away fans for 90 minutes. Thats what proper fans do.

all your thinking about is yourself and not the bigger picture, dont renew nobody fkin cares there will be plenty of other whingers to take your place

The whole of the family stand is pretty much ST's so "us" refers to the family stand as well. There are people in there who have had ST's for 40+ years and now have introduced their offspring to the blue way of life so don't assume the family stand is full of day trippers.

I presume all those who are shouting "stop fucking moaning" are ones who are in no way affected by the changes announced by the club in which case good on you.

Would all those same people in the SS be prepared to move to the 3rd tier in order that me and my mates can sit behind the goal as we have always done as have all the others in the North stand...............yes or no?

I didnt think so in which case why dont you shut the fuck up if it was happening in the SS there would be meltdown on this site

have to agree....c'mon Ricster, if they shut blocks 110 & 111, then suddenly said by the way its level 2 or up in the gods for you...ohh, and by the way we want an extra £100 off you for the privelage....you, me and many others would be up in arms

At first i would, but we have to look at the bigger picture, which i have tried to explain in a couple of posts in this thread already. City are thinking about the future of this club, and quite rightly so. If we want the huge fan base in years to come so we can be self sufficiant then aiming our audience towards youngsters is the only way to guarentee it.

I do feel sorry for them, but after 24 hrs its starting to wear thin. What about the slagging some of the clubs officials are taking? I feel sorry for them more than our fans. Some of the comments i've read this morning, and there are a few, especially in that Garry Cook thread are a fucking disgrace.

Maybe if some supported the club, the club might support them.

Its not just the moaning about the move or ticket prices either.

We've had moaning about the 2 shirts for £20 offer thats on. The reason i buy the shirts, isn't cos the price is cheap, its because i want them as soon as i can get them.
Why shouldn't the club sell them off? Is it not better that the club tries to get rid of them rather than be left with dead stock? It's another attitude by the fans of we're getting fucked over. Why do they have that attitude? Cos Sheikh Mansour is loaded thats why. They think cos he has all that cash that we shouldn't pay over the odds for stuff.

Well im sorry, i've had enough. If our fans think watching City challenge for 4th this season and a possible crack at the title next season with the likes of Gerrard and Torres in our team, and doesn't deserve a slight price hike then dont renew. Its that simple.
Thing is, me and liamctid had a bit of a set to last season over the RSC deal. I said i'd never be back even though i'd bought my season ticket. Yep, i missed the first 4 home games, but i was back and so will every other one that says they wont.

Its the mentality thats pissing me off Shady, and i can now see where liam was coming from last season, when he said "City don't need fans like you" to me. I got my arse into gear, and its about time these lot did too.

We are no longer lil ol' ciddy. We're not even noisy neighbours. We've proved this season we can mix at times with the big boys, and we'll prove it even more in the future, but there is no point in having a future without a future fanbase.

Maybe if the NS had made some noise rather than just sit there and clap everytime we score a goal, they wouldn't have been moved and it might have been a part of the ES, or CB. All this what would happen if it was 111/110, or the SS being seperated. Ain't going to happen as the club knows that those 2 area's being split would be detremental to the team cos of the atmosphere.

Harsh i know shady, but very, very true.
