I will brave the piss taking as I need a welder for my Motorcycle in the Chester area (Hawarden)
The tail-tidy or number plate mount has broken at the welds and needs to be repaired. Not a major job normally but on my bike (CCM) the sub-frame for the seat does not detach which means I can't remove it to take it to a local welder.
The material is mild steel so I am looking for somebody with MIG with the earth as close as possible to the repair (I have disconnected battery leads and connected together to protect electrics). Alternatively I need somebody with gas bottles who can travel...
Anybody out there who can recommend a good local mobile welder? If you can recommend a good welder regardless in my area then I'll reassemble if needed.
