Mods Help: PM's staying in outbox

I'm sending pm's but they are staying in my outbox and not moving to the sent messages folder.

I've clicked submit after composing the message, made sure I've got user name in the to: section and it's saying message sent successfully

Are they being sent? I've attempted to send the same message 3 times at the risk of pissing off another BM user.

I've not tried to PM Ric because... errm I don't know if a PM will get through.

Would someone look at my account please.

They stay in your Outbox until the recipient opens them.

they stay in your 'outbox' until they are read by the recipient, then they'll move to the 'sent messages' folder

Aha, thanks gents. I had one from October that was still there. Obviously the recipient never read it.

It did say message sent/ submitted or something like that so it should have gone.
I deleted the old message just in case it was preventing new messages going like botched print jobs sometimes do.

My outbox is full. Obviously people keep forgetting to read the PMs I send them.
