Biggest game of the season so far, we lose and imo it's gone 4th place.

I think we'll win and we should win, last night it was still great to hear the place rocking even at 1-0 down up until the second goal from Everton which understandably killed the atmosphere as the game was put to bed,

re-create the atmosphere monday, regardless of the opposition, wigan will being about 200 but don't let that kill the atmosphere, because imo a bigger away crowd increases the atmosphere,

treat monday like were playing the scum, raise the roof, anyone who thinks last night was a disaster have a lye down, it was just a blip and a disappointment, monday we have a chance to get 3 points on the board against an average football team, will spuds win saturday? they should do but great things happen in football, it's in our hands.

Take one game at a time, forget Burnley the week after or the games against Villa and spuds, at the moment they mean absolutely nothing, it's monday what matters and that's it, the lads hopefully have this mentality to.

Keep the noise going, stay behind the lads like we did last night and were going places.

Normal match day, then!

This 'must win game' mallarkey is doing my nut in. For an hour after the game last night it felt like the world was coming to an end. If we lose on Monday, god knows what I'll be like. Anyone else cracking under the pressure, or is it just me?

but it is a 'must win game'

losing last night was not a must win game, but just a game we needed to win and wouldn't have a massive affect of the rest of the season, the difference is now 2 points could become 5 points between us and spuds, and mondays game could actually shape the rest of our season.

Too right. What I meant was that I've always been disappointed when City lose, course I have. It's just that now every defeat feels like a knife through the heart, because finishing Fourth is SO important. If we finish Fourth, the skies the limit in terms of who might be coming here in the summer. If we don't finish Fourth, I just can't see the Torres/Villa type player signing for us to be honest. The pressures getting to me, I don't mind admitting it.

The next 3 games are must win, we have to take maximum points off, Wigan, Burnley, and Brum before we face the big boy's, imo maximum points will see us sitting in 4th, and with us and Spurs both having hard fixtures, it will all come down to Spurs at home.

and just realised with spurs still in the F.A Cup they have had a game moved to a wednesday because they got through, so we win that weekend the pressure is on them for a change to catch up hopefully,

i'm sure it's the weekend they play arsenal and we play the scum.

every games a huge game these daysw. but we really NEED to beating shit teams like wigan at home. cricket scores aswell. spurs beat em 9-1. even a 4-0 for us would be good. get the confidence goin. come on blueboys. if we do lose we are officially. FUCKED

i would take 1-0/2-1 as long as we get 3 points, obviously it would be great to see us stuff them but 3 points is 3 points.

Is it fuck. And it's not a 'must win' either. People on here have been saying games are 'must win' for months, it just doesn't work like that but probably explains some of the extreme 'opinions' on here.

We must treat all eight games from here on as 'must win' , if we want that 4th place finish .......

because that's what are rivals will be doing .... and it's getting a bit late in the day for draws !

Last nights game was important enough ..... we lost it , and we've now handed Spurs the initiative ....... we are now under even MORE pressure to beat Wigan because of it!

so if we lose monday, were in a extremely strong position 5 points behind spuds then?, oh right nothing to worry about then.

mondays game could shape the season if we lose.

we need 6 wins or 5 wins and 3 draws to make 4th so no it's not make or break yet but getting close.

If Spurs win six or seven of their eight remaining games we'll be in trouble ......

we can't take the chance ...... we have to treat all our games as 'must win' as things stand now.

This.

if people think wigan is not a must win game, i'm just baffled.

their treating it like theres about 20 games to go, it's alrite people saying well spurs have arsenal, the scum etc...

so what if they don't win them games, we have to win ours to make it count, if they lose and we lose it means nothing,

everton was a game we wanted to win, wigan is a 'must win game', losing in the everton game wasn't gonna have a big affect on this season, where the game monday does, lose monday and imo it's all but over.

chelsea have villa at the weekend, expect a chelsea win, dippers got sunderland, but i think only spurs pose a threat.

If spurs win all their 8 remaining games there is fuck all we can do about it. However, if they do I'll seek you out and give you a reach round whilst rimming the living daylights out of you.
