just watched force north east and coppers confiscated pile of dosh off a drug dealer and the wife asked me what happens to the money???? anyone know

Can get divvied up apparently. Between Police force, CPS, Home Office, put into community projects etc. I wonder about the £millions worth of cocaine that is sometimes seized on ships.. what happens to that then? I doubt it's chucked overboard.

Gets locked up as evidence for a while. Then after the trial outcome - the judge orders the cocaine to be destroyed, would be chucked in a incinerator
