moneys gone!

went down to the cash machine and it wouldnt give me any money so i tried another machine then another still nothing thought it was strange as i new i had funds in there so into the bank i went turned out they flaged my account after i had made a transaction in asda for £6, only 10 minutes before this my card was used in Naples (italy) a withdrawel of 225 euros another for 200 euros earlyer that day and multiple transactions the day before, the long and the short of it is they have spunked my season card funds now the bank tells me they will be looking into it so i should be refunded however i cant see it being sorted until after the deadline day, my card has been cancelled and the account has been frozen only cheques are alowed to be presented going in tomorrow to see about overdraft until my funds get sorted.
does anyone know if city will take a cheque for my season card made payable on the 13th june

A similar thing happened to me a few years back. The bank gave me all the money back in a few days and let me have a free overdraft until it was sorted. The bank's fraud dept were excellent.

I don't know the answer to your question Marco, but have you any idea how they got hold of your card details, I presume your card was cloned

Worst comes to worst, use the financing option. The interest rate isn't that bad.

apart from ebay my card isnt reg anywhere and paypal is pretty safe, i orderd some car parts via ebay and the seller ask me to do the transaction over the phone of course to pay you have to give the card details including the 3 didgit number once anyone has this there away, i suspect from that seller my details were passed on but cant be proved
