We've heard that before however....

We are not favourites for Wirtz (Bayern and Madrid are going to be both ahead of us for different reasons)

So if we get MGW then who else...cause it aint Wirtz and if are plan B's and C's re anything to go buy then a lot of them have been pretty poor (Dias being the exception to that rule)

Then we end up with two average players instead of one very good one and one average one and the quality of the squad and starting 11 drops off

Not Palmer, Im not sure the Palmer that has no goals for about 3 months is the real Palmer ,but neither is the Palmer of last season. Probably somewhere in between a decent PL player not a great one. Don’t think he’s much better than when we let him go. MGW isn’t replacing KDB.

Just someone that will break up play, wind opponents up. We are very good at tactical fouls but I just loved how Ferna & DeJong would smash players and wind them up.

Bernie is a great as well. Going at Liverpool fans on social a little and the guard of honour with his coffee. Just something great about having a bit of that about a player.

My point is we don’t sign somebody based on their performances 5 years ago. Players who star at 17 don’t always make it…Pato, Ravel…Adu!!! Based on your argument Palmer should have been sold.
