Most random match attended?

Actually, now that I think of it, FC Tokyo v Urawa Reds in Sept 2010 probably belongs in there. The atmosphere topped anything I've ever witnessed too, non-stop jumping and singing from both sides for the whole 90 minutes with some one the most awesome flags and banners I've ever seen.

The football, however, was coma-inducing

Just thought of another one.

Chadderton v Skelmersdale about 20 years ago. Skem 4 nil up with 30 mins to go. Chad score a goal that was offside ref realised the Iinesman missed it but let the goal stand.

The march finished 6-4 to Chad best 2 quid I've ever spent watching football.

When i was travelling the world in the navy i went to two matches. One was AEK Athens against Nottingham Forest in a pre season friendly. It was a shit game,0-0 but an experiance. The other was in Florida, the Tampa Bay Rowdies v the Boston Teamen or someone. We went because Rodney Marsh used to play/manage the Tampa Bay team though he had left then.Another poor game only memorable at the end shouting to Archie Gemmill who played for Boston as he came off.The look of shock on his face that someone knew who he was and were English shouting his name was a sight to behold, lol. We got an ''Alright lads!!'' before he disappeared down the tunnel.

A more recent game was going to watch Liverpool v Cardiff in the Carling cup at Anfield.A decent game and our tickets were right behind the players dugout.Trevor Sinclair was on the bench for Cardiff and i got his attention and told him we were City fans working on a ship.He laughed and gave the thumbs up.

Walking back afterwards we passed Liverpool's mob spread out all over the road near a pub and being an ex hoolie i knew the signs so tried to hurry the oblivious lads up as i knew it was about to kick off.Sure enough we got about 10 yards past them when the familiar roar went up and there was running and fighting all around.I carried on walking when i realised i was on my own and the other lads were shitting it hid around a corner, lol!I had to bollock them as they looked like away fans and get them to keep walking, luckily we weren't bothered.

Central Coast Mariners v Guizhou Renhe in this year's Asian Champions League.

For no other reason than to see City legend Sun Jihai.

Also went to valley Parade for the friendly between,an England 11 against Bradford City.It was the 1st match at Valley Parade after the fire disaster.I remember Trevor Cherry playing for both teams.Peter Shilton was the keeper for England that day.

Parga v Corfu in the Greek 4th division in 1990.
South Melbourne v Marconi Stallions in 2002.
