Goebbels could not have dreamt of an organization like the BBC has become. He would have loved 'em!
Goebbels was just the mouth piece for his gaffer, the BBC is infested with Dipper and Rag fuckers. On Monday night on Radio 5 they were discussing the team of the decade and they threw the Dippers into the argument despite them winning just two trophies in that time. Imagine if that was us us, we wouldn’t get a mention.

Agree, but the “diving” issue is being condoned by the media by saying there was “contact” but that alone should not be the criteria for giving a penalty. It should be contact that clearly means a penalty, not the slightest touch, it’s a cheats charter.

But we had examples of 'contact' fouls last night and Blind Andre obliges every time. There's never enough 'contact' to send a fully fit, highly trained, expertly balanced twelve or thirteen stone footballer collapsing to the ground! The fans in the ground know it, and the howls of derision as a most execrable and risible piece of refereeing seem to be water off a duck's back to these PiGMOL puppeteers! The criteria for them is 'the trip'. You get this 'contact' nonsense but it seems it only applies to the trip. Was he 'tripped'? Well, yer can't be tripped without contact, although MANUre seemed to flourish when Old Mother Riley ran about The Swamp, and the 'contact' that involves grabbing someone's arm appears not to be regarded as contact. The simple LotG have been trampled into shit, dusted down, and stretched to the point of incredulity. Never has the game been in a bigger arbitrary mess!

We know the answer now.

Dermot will say ref has called it right and that its such a great example of why VAR is brilliant because they have agreed with the ref. He will say there is contact but not enough in his opinion for the lad to go down or for it to be a penalty and he will say not all contact is a foul blah blah blah....................
Yep ... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

They're all covering their arses, FIFA, UEFA, FA, PIGMOB, IFAB I have no idea who does what any more.

Heard that and also when talking about City they had to wheel out the old 'Pep look tired' and 'I think he'll leave at the end of the season' - they must all have the same sheet to sing from.

Next week we will see the exact same thing given as a penalty and will be told you cant dive in, go to ground, it was stupid, the defender needs to stand up and the attacker has felt it and has every right to go down and the ref is right to give the penalty.

Game is dead, its in the hands of criminals.

VAR is not the issue.

Criminals hijacking it is.

MOTD still a thing then?
This.

Not watched it since the Spurs robbery apart from a minute or two.

Shame really I'm.misding VAR fucking over/helping some clubs each week.

To not show the lunge which if done by Fern would have been on a SSN loop all week & the penalty shout on Phil (being in SS3) I'd have been pissed off sitting through the show and still being no clearer.

Fucking wankers BBC, it was only a few days ago we had Shearer on the big screen bigging up VAR... No wonder the **** isn't objective.

It is a legal and fair/great tackle dependant on the teams involved.

Do it on Mane however and its a nailed on penalty as the defender just cant lunge in and go to ground like that, its reckless.

Do it on Foden and its a great tackle, not enough contact, nothing in it.

They have it sewn up within the vagaries of the laws and narratives they surround them with.
Have to say that the likes of Murphy have set and won the narrative on this aided by the BBC.
A tackle from behind that cleans out the player without clearing the ball fully is a foul. ‘Getting as touch’ doesn’t negate a foul, especially if you’ve wiped out the player from behind in order to get that touch.
It was a penalty all day long, regardless of who was playing. Not even reviewed though?
