MOTD

he has to be a wum. I've heard commentators senselessly drill the phrase "The whole ball has to be over the line" for about a decade now.
What do commentators know? If some bloke off bluemoon says that its the majority of the ball, it's the majority of the ball

He's not saying that. He's saying that it's half the ball plus the bit that is in contact with the tip of the grass. So how much of the ball is defined by the length of the grass, but if the ball is airborne then that bit doesn't count, and it's just half the ball over either the front or the back of the line, depending on which direction the sun is shining from. Makes perfect sense.

Odemwingie is a beast, if 'arry wants a cheap-ish striker I wouldn't be surprised if he goes in for him.

Well done..! There only seems to be me that noticed you clarkied clarkie..

Are you trying to Clarkie Clarkie?

The whole of the ball has to cross the line, it'd be even more impossible to judge it if it was "the majority" like you say.

;)

Ahh I missed that..! so 2 of us did.. it should be headline news on here really.

"HE'S DONE IT AGAIN..!"

Now I get it and people want goal line technology, what for? It's simple enough

I believe the feelers have already been put out.

A very good 2 or 3 season solution,in fact,we could do worse.

Good player, reminds me of Collymoor for some reason.
Why? Have you met him on asda car park on a Thursday nite?

If you only have 1 effort on target in 90 mins you can't blame the ref for losing.

The linesman was wrong to give Lampard's shot as a goal given the doubt, but by the same token I don't believe the human eye could work out that Kalou was in an offside position. Chelsea should have had a penalty.

The point MOTD raised about Drogba playing out of position was good. Why does this keep happening? If they played him as a centre-forward I think they'd have had the title wrapped up now.

Thought Wigan were unlucky not to beat Everton

I thought Drogba looked very good in the first half. When Chelsea were all over Tottenham it was all going through him. He was recieving the ball well, turning, dribbling and commiting players. He made the difference in my eyes. I know he was poorish in the second half but Torres was wretched from start to finish.

Needless to say no mention of us in the top of the table summary at the end..
even though a win tomoz w ould put us in pole position for CL ...just a mention of what might the dippers do with a wi tomoz... pathetic... GaryCrisps was almost in tears !!!!

Normally when they show the league at the end, they always say if so and so win tomorrow they create a gap, and so on.

they mentioned arsenal, scum, chelsea, skipped us then went to the red dippers.

if it was spurs playing tomorrow, they would of just mentioned 'tomorrow spurs have the chance to open up a 7 point gap on man city'

that's not me picky or being paranoid, it's a fact.

When we finish 4th...

"Manchester City have earned the chance to qualify for the Champions League proper."

As opposed to...

"Tottenham Hotspur, pride of Britannia, have earned the right to lock horns with Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Manchester United in the Champions League. BALE! BALE! BALE!"

Haha @ Elephant Man.

Sunderland are one of the most deteriorated teams in the league, a lot because of injuries. They were challenging for 4th for a long time.

We avoided a clanger by not buying Henderson in January.

Always good to laugh at a moonich in shit.

I WATCHED THE GAME, THEY PLAYED WELL, REF DONE THEM TWICE LOL, HARRYS GUTTED..

Thought the Ref had a blinder and is to be congratulated for making positive decisions under what must have been very trying moments.

What was going on with Happy Harry's hair at the back? Got a massive chunk missing........................bit like his defence.

MOTD2 has started, had a chuckle at the intro for United/Arsenal with the bobble head things.

Words cannot describe how much I fucking hate Rooney. Such a ****. Always in the refs face, always kicking off with other players. If any player deserves a broken leg it's this ****.

The thing with the Vidic handball, penalty is one thing, but he should have been bloody sent off! He's deliberately hand balling in the area and denying a goal scoring opportunity. Even if they'd missed the penalty, playing against ten men for the majority of the match = better. Vidic missing the next match = better. Mental. Rooney on form for displaying how much of a **** he is too. Do we have anyone playing for us who shows such clear disdain for literally everyone on the pitch? Even Mario doesn't stomp around telling everyone to fuck off all match. Rooney throws the biggest wobbly every time anything doesn't even remotely go his way.

Lols at them only showing the top 3 again too. I swear if we were in third they'd only show 1st, 2nd and 4th :D Arsenal are no more in this title race than we are!
