Exactly what me and my dad said today. It seems there are some clubs/people who still have the fear factor with Utd. No surprise Fat Sam is one of them.

At least Brand kept getting digs in about the foul by shrek before his so called "wonder goal".

Notice hardly any credit for the Norwich goal which for me was harder to execute and much better than shrek's.
 
I like Brand...intelligent if not exactly hilarious and he is bang on about the subjects he comments on like racism , drug abuse and conflict...some people just cant see past his media persona which he freely admits isnt real

I can't fucking stand the weirdo! I had to ask once why he was on TV so much; was he just like another Callum Best? Was Jo Brand his mam? I was shocked when a colleague told me he was supposed to be comedian! I've had funnier tooth ache.......
 
To be fair, the episode of Have I got News for you which he was on was hilarious. Mainly as he did his usual act of trying to act intelligent by using big words, only to get endlessly mocked by genuinely intelligent and funny comedians in Paul Merton, Jack Dee and Ian Hislop. He got so badly destroyed that he gets up and wanders off for about 10 minutes. Fucking hilarious. Cannot stand the prick, just a druggie who swallowed a dictionary and likes to think he's a genius.
 
I must be the only one who likes Russell Brand.

I think he is pretty funny if not hilarious and his comments on Football in his column are usually reflective of the average Football fan's thoughts.

Take away the "celebrity" and just like our own Ricky and Noel he is a fan just like we are.

He did very well tonight punditry - wise on MOTD. Not much competition though with Shearer being on the Sofa.
