Just wondering if anybody on here goes to games on a motorbike, i'm considering riding mine to games, is there any charge for parking a bike up at the ground? and what do you do with your bike stuff? CTID

Was going to ask the same about cycles too (anyone biked there? Had one pinched?). Considering biking tomorrow evening...but then I have no lights, so probably a no no.

I use to go on mine mate a couple of seasons ago. You can (or could) lock it to the barriers at the second main stadium entrance. I never had a problem, either plactic bag and lock your helmet to the bike, or take it in with you. A few do go on bikes, no charge and a quick get away after the game.

I used to cycle it last season, i found that it was safe to lock up the bike at the entrance to the tennis courts. They have a place made up for you to lock up your bike.
It was much quicker than taking the car and i was well home before i would have got out of the car park if driving.

Bike it tomorrow evening pal and sleeping arrangements may be difficult ha ha

Go on the motorbike when it's not raining and it's dead easy. You can go right into the ground and we usually park near the shop. You'll find the stewards simply wave you through. There's no charge which is even better.

...as in...I'll be home in the 'a.m's'? Could pop to aldi in the morning and pick up a set of lights for 50p, but it's looking like train to Piccadilly and tram to the Etihad Colliery ; )

I've been on mine a few times and have parked near the main entrance next to spiral V, if that makes sense.

I've never had a problem with it, and as someone has said, you just get waved through.

Easy peasy.

The club ought to be offering fans who come on bikes secure parking - should be able to wheel yer bike into the main entrance and then into a lockable hutch like they have at some stations. I think I'll email the club and see if yer can get secure motorbike and bicyle parking as an 'add-on'. Dya think I should mention triple loyalty points, too?
