whats your best? current mountain bike or best mountain bike you've had?

any good trails which i should know about or ride? any good clubs to join in salford area?

not rode for about three years and have just got my claud butler trail ridge back (in horrendous condition) from my sisters boyfriend. Am close to smacking the f**ker and charging him the money i've had to spend to get it back to 'normal'. He only had it for two weeks, but theres no way of proving it was like that when he got it...it was in perfect condition. tw@t!

its mad you made this thread as ive been thinkin over these last few days about getting a mountain bike, the gyms starting to bore me now and as i spend 30-60min each mornin on a spin bike i might aswell just go out and do the real thing-much more exciting especially with summer comin up.is there any decent bikes at decent prices?and wheres best buy em from?

crizack let me know of any clubs you hear about-cheers pal

Lads if your looking for bike treks check out the site.
http://www.mapmyride.com I have used it a couple of times and it is good. Not too sure if they have a lot of mountain treks you would just have to check it out for yourself.

carrera GT Aggressor XC 3 lovely bike..jan sales half price...cant go wrong...

after spending a good part of my youth BMXing all over the NW I have recently rediscovered my love for biking. I had a bad knee injury and was told by my specialist to "get on yer bike" to build up my muscles in prep for the op and again to build up the muscle waste after the op. I bought a Trek 3900 2009 model last june and *I'm loving it, I bike it to and from work everyday down the canal towpath and if I get some time I'll be going on some trails soon!

I got one in blue and silver, naturally, and it cost me £250 brand new with 6 months interest free credit, a bargain IMO. I'm already beginning to think of an upgrade though!!

08 Specialized Rockhopper, gonna upgrade the front wheel, fork and bars this year.
Picking up an 07 Rockhopper to commute on

I've got one of these but the chain keeps getting rusty don't know why (oil before and after each ride), the first chain snapped whilst I was riding it second one seized up after about a month and it needs another new one now. I must be doing something wrong!
