Sheepishly held his hand up and turned to the South Stand to acknowledge it. Got a cheer.

Yeah, forgive me for thinking the majority of our fans would not welcome the best manager or arguably best player in the world.

the only reason they cheated and dived about like fuck was becuase they were shitting themselves.
they knew with 10men and the tide turning all it would take was one or two moments of brilliance from city to score a winner.

I think you uderestimate the morality of the majority. If those 2 excuses for sportsmen arrived I think a lot would struggle to get behind them.
