Mourinho announced as new Spurs coach

After one game. They win 3-2, at a club who have been pretty woeful for most of the season. They're cruising 3-0 up and concede two late on. If the Hammers had got that goal with, say, 10 minutes left, who knows what might have happened? But apparently they're going to be a "massive" (sniff") threat. Its hilarious, the hype that surrounds that club and that man.

Doesn't matter what kind of form West Ham are in or how crap they are. They always raise themselves by two or three levels when Tottenham come to visit.

Spurs had the game comfortably won (despite missing a lot of key players) but took their foot off the gas and, credit to West Ham, they played well in the final 20 minutes.

I know you're a Spurs fan, but be honest. What do you make of that reaction to a less than convincing win over a mediocre opponent.

It's the kind of sensationalist, grossly exaggerated crap that these kinds of broadcasters routinely churn out to generate hype. Mourinho gets it more than anyone.

Sorry for bump, but couldn’t find a recent general Spurs thread.

just read that Amazon are following Spurs for the 19/20 season, like they did for us in their ‘All or Nothing’ series.

The series subtitle looks like it might need changing:
‘All for nothing’

our season was definitely the ‘all’, Spurs is heading for the ‘nothing’

Mourinho as a manager is done! His teams don’t even defend anymore now he going to tell the board that he can only priority A premier game or the European game! What manager worth his salt does that?

Nothing at all

He was done as a manager when it all went wrong at Madrid.

The man is badly damaged and should team up with Wee Davie.
