as he wants to return to english football its quite likley he will

don,t want RM to go but reckon he will......and will take JM in a heartbeat....the guy gets results-like him or hate him.....mega star players will come.....the owners will sing to his tune.......

This is really annoying me now, why when he could go to Madrid for a couple of seasons then go to United would he come to City?

He'd have plenty of money to spend at Madrid, so you can't use that.

Plus they've not reached the quarter finals of the Champions League for 6 years so he'd have something to achieve.

United will probably have dropped below Chelsea and maybe Arsenal by the time Fergie goes and so he'd then be able to take them back to the top as they'll probably have started to sort their money issues out by then.

Just drop it, he's not coming to us!

madrid heavily rely on CL success for funds....and JM likes a challenge,as the documentary earlier tonight showed...we tick both boxes for jose...1. not won anything for ages...but...2. have plenty of cash for him to create a dynasty.......and he would......this could happen imo......

Dont think the special one will be at Eastlands Paul...however I think Mancio could get City to play in that style if given the chance.

Why wouldnt Jose come here? We'll pay more than any other club? we have more ambition than any other club. He'll get all the resources he needs. The only problem with city now is there's no exuse for failure so theres alot of pressure

Really? Well if they can spend £250m in one summer including £80m on one player after not reaching the quarter-finals for 5 years, imagine what they'd be like if they got to the final or won it.

There are plenty of challenges around, Madrid being one for the aforementioned reasons, coming to us is very risky to his "perfect" reputation.

As for creating a dynasty, he seems to have itchy feet if you ask me, never stays at one club for too long does he? 5 teams in 10 years.

The same sort of pressure he had at chelski with a similar squad to start with

I don't know.

The more i see it, the more it seems a done deal.

Bobby Manc may have already been offered the italy job when he came to us which would mean cookie wanting to tie up a more permanant option in the summer; as a poster has already said Jose ticks all the boxes and the creation of a long term dynasty would suit his ego down to the ground and i think the Malcolm Allinson connection may help too.

And out of that 10 year period, how many of his clubs failed to win anything ???

Jose wants to rub Roman's nose in it and City are the perfect vehicle. Access to a bottomless pit for a transfer budget will virtually guarantee him success in that regard. I think he'll have trouble resisting, if we actually that we want him, that is.

What's that got to do with anything? I'm not saying he's not a good manager, he clearly is, I just cannot believe even for a second that he'd come to City.
