Mourinho or Mancini

I would like to be romantic and keep Mancini for what he won for us after going so long being nowhere, but to get the club to new heights, Mourinho would have to be hired.

Mancini has to win the league to keep his job anyway in my opinion, but didn't the owner go for Mancini because Mourinho was not ready for yet or something?

Fergie preparing the way??

If he wins the League or Champions league this year, Fergie will call it a day and go out on a high.

If Fergie does win the league, next year could get interesting in terms of managerial appointments: Fergie retiring, Mancini will probably be sacked if United win the league, Chelsea want a new manager, Wenger gone?? Pep and Mourinho signature battle?

mourinho is the dogs bollocks. he would certainly improve us.

the problems for me are....

1. would he do a runner after 3/4 seasons and leave us at square one again?

2. mancini has won 2 titles in three years and deserves time, why keep chopping and changing managers? he clear didn't bring in the players he wanted in the summer.

3. will mourinho take care of the academy and develop us for the future or is he just a short term fix?

i'm looking at the next 10 years, not 3.

i'll stick with mancini.

Quick question - in the last 3 years how much has Mancini improved the academy and how many academy players are now playing for the 1st team?

good point.

Another point to note - both Mancini and Mourinho have very similar personalities. Both can be absolute twunts and are extremely selfish. Its just we have an affiliation with one of them. The big thing is they are both winners but tactically Mourinho is better

i know but i love our bob for what he's given us.

the thought of mourinho does give me a boner though.

i'm going to back mancini until the days he leaves either way.

I'll agree with this, depsite the poor grammar and punctuation.

My head tells me Mourinho as I honestly believe he would take us to the next level

^ This is the key line here people ^

Were ready for that next level, were a step up. Mancini couldn't take us to that next level.

The club moves forward each year, were on the verge of being towards the top. Therefore we need a proper tactical knowledgeable world class manager to get us there. Mancini isn't that man.

Mourinho, based on the club moving forward he's the one.

Agreed.

I hate Mourinho almost as much as i hate Ferguson.

He would. His next job will be a long term one I feel. He has done the 3 major leagues barring Germany. He would take us to the next level without a doubt. Our fergie ? ... hehehe.
