Not sure but probably yes - the only reason i can see is that the next club Mouriniho manages i think will be his last in the Prem - so if he was available in the summer we have gotta get him because i don think there would be another opportunity - the longer he stays at Real the more likely he is to go to the rags.

Mourinho never would have let this team get bounced by Dynamo Kiev. Mancini has been asked for trophies and (as far as I can tell) Birmingham has won more than City since his appointment.
Europa League was a great chance at one too as they were the most talented team in the competition.
