Movies to ipod classic

I used Any Video Converter to transfer an avi movie to my daughters ipod
but the audio is 2 seconds behind video.I looked for settings to tweak
but couldn't see any. Can any of the techies here help please?

Did that with AVC,which took about 1hr 15mins to convert

scrub it and try again mate if that fails then what film format was it before you converted it was it a dvd rip or a download?

No. I use Winamp with a third party plug-in (ml_ipod) and there are others. Link
I like iTunes for downloading podcasts but wouldn't let it near my iPod.

Download a program called handbrake. That's the one I use for my iPod touch
