Moving away fans thread #328, bit of non City news

Seems that the Rags are shoving Villa fans into their North Stand 3rd tier next month as a trial. Sunderland are apparently also moving their away fans up away from the pitch - like at Newcastle.

Personally, I reckon given that the atmosphere at both the swamp and Sunderland are like a morgue already putting the only fans that sing way up out of the way will make it even worse.

I once sat up in the 3rd tier for the rugby league, its like watching the game through a letterbox and no chance at all to create any atmosphere up there

Hope this means the away fans will get a proper % of tickets.

If not as at the moment aways get less than they should due to 'Doing what they want'/ground lay out then the FA should dock them points.

The rule for Premier League matches is 10% or 3000 whichever is smaller so they give the amount they should do. They won't give any more.

If this does happen we could more seats for make at Old Trafford because that thirs tier holds around 5000 so if this did happen i am pretty sure they would not give use 3000 then just up 2000 of their fans up there as well and i am sure the police would have something to say.

Well they may move us lot back to the normal way end when we play there. I know a mate who may be able to answer this question for us becuase he does the policing on match days for the rags.
