I've heard quite a few references on here to Gollum's programme notes when we went to Goodison - as I didn't go to the game and haven't seen the programme could anyone copy and paste them or at least provide a summary of what exactly he said?

Man City are too rich and were nasty to Everton, Everton are morally perfect in all their dealings with every club and player they've ever dealt with, ever.

“Good evening and welcome to Goodison Park.”

There’s no doubt that Manchester City Football club treated us with little respect and broke rules in the summer transfer of Joleon Lescott. I found it very difficult to accept that a club that until recently had so many similarities to Everton should suddenly start acting with no class.”

This is part of what I read sitting in the Lower Bullens. Wonderful welcome, just as you've brought a BlueDipper to the match, paid for the parking, bought one of their pies and programmes.

Wonder what we'd have for tea if we ever went to the Moyes's. Bet there's a turnstile on the front door!

is that it?

people on here have been saying they were inflamatory and almost caused a civil distubance???

Bryan Ferry wrote a song for Moyes in the late 70's.......
Jealous Guy.

- showed no class (here's me thinking we didn't say SHIT)
- broke the rules (yet to hear from the PL regarding said breach
- treated Everton with little respect (by making official bids for a player)

The way I see it Gollum made a mountain out of a molehill. It was an insignificant event that he personally used to flame the anti-City bile we've had from everyone since the takeover.

He made us seem like some massive juggernaut steamrolling our way to world domination and treating that poor little 'People's Club' like dirt.

It also endeared him to his hero at the swamp.
